NEWS IN ENGLISH: JUDGES RETIRE TO SENTENCE IN SPARTACUS TRIAL

ROMA, 15 GENNAIO 2010. - By this evening we should know thefinal sentence for the Spartacus trial in which the accusedare the most important members of the Casalesi family. Thejudges of the Court of Cassation's first penal section have infact just retired to decide whether to confirm the sentencepassed by the Appeal Court in Naples, which in June 2008passed 16 life sentences. The guilty included FrancescoSchiavone, Francesco Bidognetti, Michele Zagaria and AntonioIovine, family bosses, two of them still on the run.
